NPA-TV Staff

NPA-TV is staffed by industry professionals who also mostly happen to be Norwood residents and graduates of Norwood Public schools! Below you'll find biographies for the current NPA-TV staff.

Station Manager: Jack Tolman

Jack Tolman, Station Manager, has 25 years experience in the video production industry. In addition to his part-time position as NPA-TV's Station Manager, he has been the Director of TV/Video Services for the Norwood School Department since 1991. This combination is a perfect fit that allows for the continued success of the NPA-TV/School Department relationship.

Jack was NPA-TV's first hire in 2004 and has built up a station and staff that prides itself on quality programming for the town of Norwood. In 2011 Jack managed the design and construction of the new NPA-TV studios located in the new Norwood High School. Jack has produced several long form programs for broadcast including "The Richie Hebner Story", a documentary on WWII pilot Colonel George T. Lee and “Sports Slants – The Frank Wall Story”. Jack is a graduate of Norwood High School, Dean Junior College and Loyola University of New Orleans. He has worked for Cramer Productions, the Boston Red Sox, the New England Patriots and the Boston Celtics.

Assistant Station Manager: Meghan Staffiere Corbett

Meghan is a 2007 graduate of Framingham State College with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. After completing her internship at NECN she was hired by NPA-TV in March of 2008.

Meghan is responsible for working with Public Access Producers to coordinate, schedule and broadcast their programs as well as teach classes and work on an individual basis with Public Access users. In September 2010 Meghan created the widely popular middle school program NPA-TV Youth Video Club. In addition, Meghan manages the website, creates the schedule for the Town Channel, and handles the social media sites. Meghan has also produced and covered the Matt Brown Galas, Norwood Day, The Last Hurrah and Dancing with the Norwood Stars. As a graduate of Norwood High School Class of 2003, Meghan is very excited to be a part of the success of NPA-TV and is looking forward to what the future holds.

Business Manager: Sarah Sullivan

Sarah was hired by NPA-TV in June 2006. Sarah works part-time at NPA-TV managing the business side of the office. Her responsibilities include establishing annual budget, managing payroll and benefits for the staff and preparing monthly financial reports for the NPA Board of Directors. Sarah has an Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Boston College and an Masters of Business Administration from Babson College. Sarah has worked for D.C. Heath, a division of Raytheon and Houghton Mifflin Publishing. She is an active volunteer in the Norwood Public Schools and looks forward to continuing the relationship between NPA-TV and the Norwood Public School Department.

Staff Producer: Mike Maloof

Mike is a Norwood resident and NHS alumni (2007). Mike graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. in 2011 After graduating, Mike went on to intern with Major League Lacrosse in the production department and was hired by Norwood Public Access Television in November of 2011. Mike, along with Co-Staff Producer Kim Pincus, handle the day to day programming of the NPA-TV channels. Mike is also responsible for the documentary of the NHS Boys Hockey team and their trip to Fenway Park entitled, Behind the Glass: Road to Fenway. Mike has also been on crew for various sporting events such as Boys/Girls Hockey, Basketball, Lacrosse, Youth Lacrosse, Soccer, and Little League. He is also part of the team that covers the different government meetings such as Town Meeting, Board of Selectmen, and School Committee. Being a Norwood High School Graduate, and going through the NHS TV program, Mike enjoys working back at NHS and having the close connection between NPA and NHS.

Government Coordinator: Amy Tobey

Amy is responsible for producing and staffing all local government broadcasts. She has her degree in Communications from Northeastern University and has worked in video production for over fifteen years. She has produced and edited episodes of Golfing the World and The Mountain Report for BCN Productions which aired on Fox Sports and NESN, and has had several posts producing in-game content for the Boston Red Sox, Pawtucket Red Sox, New England Patriots, Boston Bruins and Brockton Rox. Before coming on-board as NPA's Government Coordinator, Amy was a freelance producer for NPA for several years.

At NPA-TV, she produces all content for the Morrill Memorial Library, including Beach Reads, Fireside Reads, and the monthly Library Show. She produces all Town Meeting broadcasts, as well as coordinates all government meetings such as School Committee, Board of Selectmen, Finance Committee, Zoning Board, and Election Night coverage. She has also produced a regular program about the Norwood Senior Center.

Amy is excited about the opportunity to enhance government coverage in Norwood, and is looking forward to the new Government channel, going online Fall 2012.

Staff Producer: Kim Pincus

Kim is a Staff Producer for Norwood Public Access Television. She is responsible for two monthly shows: Pets and Their People, on Norwood’s animal community, and Civic Central, on the recreation department. Kim also covers local government meetings, sports games and regular events in the town. A 2011 graduate of the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, Kim has worked part time for Massasoit Community College in Brockton and LexMedia in Lexington. She has also worked freelance for Braintree Community Access and Media and Canton Community Television. Kim is proud to be a part of the Norwood Public Access Television community.
