Norwood Public Access Television's mission is to provide Norwood residents with the training and equipment needed to produce their own public access program.

Orientation (One Night a Month)
Learn about NPA-TV and public access television at a free orientation open to the public. You will be able to tour the facility and learn about the possibilities of producing your own program or getting involved with the station. In order to take an NPA-TV Class you must attend a Orientation Night.
Intro to Studio Production 101 (One Class)
Learn the technical and conceptual aspects of producing and recording your own studio programs. Includes hands-on instruction on cameras, tripods, lighting, audio, and video switching.
Intro to Field Production 101 (One Class)A hands-on workshop introducing you to the variety of different cameras we use at NPA-TV. Learn the basic operations of these cameras and how to use them for your next production. We will also teach you the basics of audio use on the camera and how to use a tripod. Upon completion you can sign out our equipment and use it to film outside of the Studio.
Basic Adobe Premiere Editing (One Class)
Learn the basics of Adobe Premiere on the Mac; includes how to import your footage, use transitions and effects, manage your audio levels, create graphics and much more.
NPA-TV Youth Video Club:
A weekly video club for Norwood residents in grades 6-8. Located at the NPA-TV Studios at Norwood High School. The club will demonstrate the basics of video production such as: learning how to use the studio, cameras, graphics, using a video camera, and editing on a Mac computer. The students will work independently and in groups to produce programming that will be broadcast on NPA-TV Town Channel. Classes run in the Fall and Winter/Spring.
Lights, Camera, Summer!
NPA-TV's popular Middle School Summer Class, which teaches the basics of studio production. This class runs in the summer time in the month of July and is open to Norwood residents entering grades 6, 7, & 8. It runs weekdays from 9:30 – 12:30pm for a week per session. The kids will learn all the basics of production and by the end of the week will have produced their own show!
